Most heat presses should work well with our transfers. Since every heat press can vary slightly, we recommend using our sample prints first to fine-tune your settings and ensure the best results.

At the Shinobi Transfers office, our in-house heat press is set to 156°C for 8 seconds with medium-high pressure—this gives us consistently clean results.

For general use, we recommend setting your press between 150–158°C and pressing for 8–10 seconds with medium-high pressure. After pressing, quickly wipe over the transfer with a cloth while pressing down firmly. Be sure to peel while the transfer is still hot, as our transfers are designed for a hot peel.

Note: If you get a clean, successful peel, there’s no need to repress the transfer.

Getting your settings right from the start will help you achieve smooth, long-lasting results.

It's highly recommended to use vector art, and the artwork should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Our transfers have undergone rigorous testing on a range of garments, including assessments in washing machines and dryers. You can trust that the ink will remain securely on the transfers without any risk of bleeding onto the fabric. In fact, we've achieved results of up to 60 wash tests before any noticeable degradation.
